Trade aggressively when Akali's W is on cooldown — it's her main defensive tool and the primary way she hides during fights, and its long cooldown leaves her far more exposed without it.

When Akali uses her W in a fight, back away from the smoke rather than fighting inside it — she can use the invisibility repeatedly, giving her a massive advantage as long as the shroud is active.
