Stand behind at least two minions when laning against Lux — her Q (Light Binding) stops after hitting two targets, so minions block the root before it reaches you.
Basic Lane Phase
Punish Lux hard when her Q misses — it has a moderate cooldown early in lane, leaving her without a root or reliable way to stop an all-in.
Lane Phase Skirmish
Play carefully once Lux hits level 6 — her Q into E into R combo can burst a squishy target down from a large portion of health in a single exchange.
Basic Lane Phase
Stand beside the minion wave rather than inside it against Lux's E — Lucent Singularity only slows and damages within its own small area, so she has to choose between poking you and clearing the wave with it.
Lane Phase
Commit to fights immediately rather than letting them stall — Lux wants to poke with E and look for a Q pick before engaging, so denying her that setup time removes her biggest advantage.
Team Fight
Avoid walking alone through unwarded areas, especially near objectives — Lux often roams to ward and looks to catch isolated targets with Q for a follow-up burst.
Late Game
Watch for her ultimate's one-second cast time — Lux can't move, attack, or cast Q while channeling Final Spark, giving you a window to reposition or punish her.
