Engage Tryndamere when his Fury bar is low or empty — he gains 0-50% critical strike chance based on Fury, making him much weaker with an empty bar.
Basic Lane Phase Skirmish
Keep the minion wave close to your tower early game — Tryndamere has strong all-in potential and can easily chase you down the lane with his E (Spinning Slash) and W (Mocking Shout).
Lane Phase
Track Tryndamere's ultimate cooldown (120/100/80 seconds at ranks 1/2/3) and look to fight when it's down — without his invulnerability, he's much more vulnerable to all-ins.
Lane Phase Skirmish
Apply hard crowd control to Tryndamere during his ultimate — while you can't kill him, you can prevent him from dealing damage during his 5 seconds of invulnerability.
Skirmish Team Fight
Tryndamere's survivability increases dramatically at level 6 with his ultimate (Undying Rage), which prevents him from dropping below 30/50/70 health for 5 seconds.
Basic Lane Phase
Always face Tryndamere when he uses his W (Mocking Shout) — targets facing away from him are slowed by 30-60%, making it much harder to escape.
Lane Phase Skirmish
When Tryndamere split pushes in mid-game, avoid sending multiple people to stop him if Baron is up — even with numbers advantage, his ultimate makes him difficult to kill quickly, giving his team time to take Baron.
Advanced Late Game
If Tryndamere has Ignite, expect aggressive all-ins at level 2 or 3 when he has access to both his E mobility and sustained damage.

Tryndamere's E cooldown is reduced by 0.75 seconds (1.5 against champions) on critical strikes — expect multiple dashes in fights when he has high crit chance.
