Position yourself behind minions when facing Lux. Her Q stops at the first two enemies hit, making minions excellent shields against her root.
Basic Lane Phase
Engage aggressively when Lux misses her Q. Without her root, she has no reliable way to protect herself from all-ins for 10-11 seconds in the early game.
Lane Phase Skirmish
Respect Lux's level 6 power spike. Her full Q+E+R combo can nearly one-shot squishier champions, making her significantly more threatening once she unlocks her ultimate.
Basic Lane Phase
Position yourself beside rather than inside your minion wave. This forces Lux to choose between using her E to poke you or to push the wave, reducing her lane pressure.

Engage quickly in team fights rather than allowing extended standoffs. Lux excels at poking with her E before fights begin, but struggles against immediate all-ins when she can't whittle down enemies first.

Use Control Wards in key bushes when facing Lux. Her E ability grants vision when placed, making it harder for your team to set up surprise engages without proper vision control.
