Basic Lane Phase
Disengage immediately when Illaoi uses her R (Leap of Faith) — her ultimate creates untargetable Tentacles and doubles her W frequency, making her extremely dangerous in confined spaces.
Team Fight Skirmish
If you become a Vessel from Illaoi's E, stand near one spawned Tentacle — this prevents additional Tentacles from spawning around you, significantly reducing her passive damage.
Lane Phase
Avoid fighting Illaoi in tight spaces like jungle corridors — in open areas, her Tentacles have limited spawn locations, reducing her damage potential during fights.
