When Rengar reaches level 6, his ganking power increases dramatically with his ultimate. This ability grants him camouflage, movement speed, and reveals nearby enemies. Pay attention to his "ultimate ready" pings and prepare for his approach.

When skirmishing with Rengar, fight near brushes whenever possible. His passive "Unseen Predator" grants him a leap attack from brush, increasing his mobility and burst potential significantly.

Watch Rengar's resource bar below his health for Ferocity stacks. At 4 Ferocity, his next E becomes an empowered root instead of a slow. Save your own crowd control for after this root expires to maximize disable duration.

After a successful Rengar gank in your lane, immediately look to secure nearby objectives like Dragon or Herald. His burst damage makes him excellent at taking objectives quickly after eliminating threats.

Place control wards in river brushes and jungle entrances when Rengar is nearby. Denying enemy vision significantly increases his assassination potential with his ultimate, as enemies won't see him coming until it's too late.

When Rengar signals he's using his ultimate, create a distraction by trading aggressively with your lane opponent. This can make them focus on you and miss the warning indicator that appears when Rengar is approaching.

Rengar's empowered W (at 4 Ferocity) cleanses all crowd control effects. Against CC-heavy teams, he'll often save this ability defensively rather than using empowered Q for damage or E for root, changing how aggressively he can engage.

After Rengar commits to an assassination with his full combo, he becomes vulnerable for several seconds. Be ready to provide shields, heals, or counter-engage to protect him during this window, especially if he used his empowered W for damage instead of cleansing.
