When Viktor places his W (Gravity Field), follow up with your own crowd control abilities rather than using them immediately. This ensures enemies stay in the field long enough to be stunned, creating a devastating CC chain.
Team Fight Skirmish
Fight in jungle corridors and tight spaces when Viktor is on your team. His abilities, especially E (Hextech Ray) and R (Arcane Storm), deal much more damage when enemies are funneled into confined areas.
Basic Team Fight
Prioritize vision and jungle presence around mid lane in the early game. Viktor is weak before his first augment and needs protection to safely farm and scale into his powerful late game.
Lane Phase
When Viktor casts his R (Arcane Storm) on an enemy, focus that same target. The storm follows them and deals continuous damage, making them easier to eliminate if your team concentrates fire.
Team Fight Skirmish
Viktor's E (Hextech Ray) provides exceptional wave clear during sieges. Allow him to safely approach and clear incoming minion waves before engaging in fights around towers.
Basic Late Game
Viktor's W (Gravity Field) creates a 4.5-second zone that slows enemies even if they don't get stunned. Use this area to kite enemies or force them into unfavorable paths during fights.
Team Fight Skirmish
Help Viktor secure minion waves and assist him in champion takedowns. He needs Hex Fragments from kills to augment his abilities, which dramatically increases his power.
Lane Phase Late Game
Viktor's R (Arcane Storm) provides vision of the area it affects. When checking bushes or objectives, ask if Viktor can use his ultimate to safely scout the area.
Advanced Team Fight Skirmish
After Viktor augments his Q (Siphon Power), he gains 30% movement speed for 2.5 seconds when he uses it. This makes him much more mobile in short bursts during teamfights and skirmishes.
