When playing with Jhin, damage enemy champions to mark them for his W (Deadly Flourish). If Jhin hits a marked target with W, they'll be rooted, creating perfect follow-up opportunities for your abilities.
Basic Team Fight Skirmish
Watch Jhin's ammo counter (visible below his health bar). His fourth shot always critically strikes and deals bonus damage based on missing health, making it excellent for executing low-health enemies.
Team Fight Skirmish
Provide extra protection when Jhin is reloading after his fourth shot, as he's vulnerable for 2.5 seconds. Position yourself between him and threats or use crowd control abilities to create space during this window.
Team Fight Skirmish
Before Jhin channels his ultimate (Curtain Call), use your crowd control or poke abilities to soften targets. Since he's immobile while channeling, your setup significantly increases his effectiveness.

When Jhin channels his ultimate, protect his flanks rather than stacking in front of him. He's completely immobile during this time and vulnerable to enemies approaching from the sides.
Advanced Team Fight
When Jhin successfully roots an enemy with his W, follow up immediately with your own damage or crowd control. The root duration increases with ability level (up to 2.25 seconds at max rank), giving you more time to capitalize.
Lane Phase Skirmish
Use your crowd control or zoning abilities to force enemies over Jhin's invisible Lotus Traps (E), especially in jungle chokepoints. When triggered, these traps slow, reveal, and damage enemies, setting up Jhin's other abilities.
Skirmish Late Game
After critically striking (including his fourth shot), Jhin gains a burst of movement speed for 2 seconds. Be aware of this movement pattern when engaging or retreating alongside him, as he alternates between attacking and quick repositioning.
