When skirmishing with Poppy, position yourself on the opposite side of enemies from walls. This creates an opportunity for Poppy to E-charge enemies into terrain for a 1.6-2 second stun.
Skirmish Lane Phase
When Poppy activates her W, a short-range glowing circle appears around her that blocks enemy dashes. Stay within this circle when facing champions with dash abilities like Leona, Lee Sin, or Tristana.
Basic Team Fight Skirmish
When Poppy charges her R for at least 0.5 seconds, she can knock enemies super far toward their fountain. Be ready to immediately engage on the remaining enemies or secure objectives during this numbers advantage.
Advanced Team Fight
If the enemy team has engage supports like Leona, Alistar, or Rakan, stay near Poppy during objective fights. Her W can completely shut down their engage tools by blocking their dashes and knocking them up.
Basic Team Fight
Fight in jungle corridors or near structures with Poppy on your team. These enclosed spaces maximize her wall stun potential and make it harder for enemies to avoid her Q damage zones.
Skirmish Team Fight
When Poppy lands a wall stun with her E, the enemy is immobilized for up to 2 seconds. This provides a perfect opportunity for junglers to gank or for mid laners to roam bot lane for a high-percentage play.

When Poppy's buckler lands on the ground after her passive attack, avoid blocking her path to it. The shield it provides (13-18% of her max health) is crucial for her survival in trades and fights.
