Fight along river bends, brush, or jungle walls when Qiyana has her R available — her ultimate sends a cascading shockwave through any river, brush, or terrain edge it passes, stunning enemies caught in the wave for up to a second.
Team Fight Skirmish
Be ready to follow up the moment Qiyana dashes onto a target with her E during a gank — the dash only deals damage if she ends up within short range of the target, so her all-in depends on your damage or crowd control landing in that same instant.
Lane Phase Skirmish
When Qiyana holds the Terrain element, focus the same low-health targets she does — her empowered Q deals 60% bonus damage to enemies below half health, letting her finish them off quickly.
Skirmish Team Fight
When Qiyana holds the River element, follow up the instant her Q lands — it roots the target for half a second before slowing them, giving you a brief window to land your own crowd control before the root wears off.
Lane Phase Skirmish
Hold vision in jungle chokepoints and river during the mid game — Qiyana's Brush-element Q grants her invisibility for repositioning, and denying that vision removes her ability to flank onto priority targets safely.
