Watch for Syndra placing a Dark Sphere near an enemy before firing her E — knocking that sphere into them is what triggers her 1.25 second stun, not the E cone by itself. Be ready to follow up the instant it lands.
Team Fight Skirmish
Syndra's R barrages her target with up to 7 Dark Spheres — 3 new ones plus up to 4 nearby live Dark Spheres — so the more spheres she's placed beforehand, the harder her ultimate hits. Expect bigger burst when she's been poking freely.
Team Fight Skirmish
Prioritize peeling for Syndra in fights — she has no dash, blink, or any other mobility tool, so once she's locked down by crowd control she has no way to escape and is an easy kill for divers.
Basic Team Fight Skirmish
Once Syndra collects 100 Splinters of Wrath, her R gains an execute effect — any target it would drop below 15% health dies outright, so treat her ult as a kill threat even on targets that look like they'd survive the damage.
Advanced Team Fight Late Game
When Syndra holds a minion or Dark Sphere with her W, expect her to throw it into the enemy team next — the throw deals damage and slows for 1.5 seconds to everyone hit, giving you a window to engage.

Once Syndra reaches 40 Splinters of Wrath, her Q can stock up to 2 charges at once — expect faster, more frequent poke from her after this point, so time your own trades around the extra cast.
