When Aatrox activates his R (World Ender), engage alongside him. He gains bonus attack damage and greatly increased healing, making him much stronger in fights and able to sustain through damage.
Basic Team Fight Skirmish
Position to follow up when Aatrox lands his Q Sweetspot knockups. Each cast has a different hit area, with the knockup effect allowing your team to land additional damage and abilities.
Skirmish Team Fight
When Aatrox lands his W (Infernal Chains), position to attack the tethered enemy. If they don't escape the area within 1.5 seconds, they'll be pulled and take additional damage.
Skirmish Team Fight
Aatrox is vulnerable when his Q (The Darkin Blade) is on cooldown. Avoid engaging alongside him during this window as he loses most of his damage and CC potential.
Advanced Skirmish Team Fight
Aatrox becomes significantly stronger at level 3 when he has access to all his basic abilities. This is an excellent time to coordinate ganks or aggressive trades in lane.
Basic Lane Phase
In late game (25+ minutes), Aatrox becomes more vulnerable compared to his mid-game strength. Provide additional peel and support to help him remain effective in teamfights.
Late Game Team Fight
In teamfights, support Aatrox when he attempts to flank the enemy backline. His Q and W allow him to effectively threaten carries, but he needs follow-up to be successful.
Advanced Team Fight
Aatrox's ultimate duration extends by 5 seconds whenever he gets a takedown. Prioritize helping him secure kills during his ultimate to maximize his power window.
